In this article we will learn to implement a CPP program to illustrate scope resolution new and delete operators. A C++ program is given below to demonstrate scope resolution operator, new operator and delete operators.

Program is as follows:

#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int x = 20;
int main()
{
	int x = 10;
	cout<<"Local x = "<<x<<endl;
	cout<<"Global x = "<<::x<<endl;  //Scope resolution operator ::
	int *p;
	p = new int;	//new operator
	*p = 10;
	cout<<"p = "<<*p;
	delete(p);	//delete operator
	return 0;
}

Output for the above program is as follows:

Local x = 10
Global x = 20
p = 10

sir we used delete operator here…but in the output we are still getting the value of p.can u give much clarity about this…..??

    We are printing value of p before calling delete operator. So we are able to see the value of p in the output.
